The insertion loss of the filter can impact range, though the impact can be negligible if reception was limited by the noise floor and out of band interference.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis filter is particularly effective for receivers and amplifiers with no SAW filter before the first amplification stage, like dAISy Mini, dAISy FeatherWing, dAISy Original, and Uputronics 162MHz preamplifier.
